There are two walls in China. The Great Wall and the Adoption Wall at the Phillip Hayden Foundation. Many people's lives have been sacrificed to build and create the Great Wall of China. In the same respect the Adoption Wall at PHF represents some of these same characteristics. Due to their children having medical problems or their family size exceeding the Chinese laws many families have to sacrificed a lifetime with their children knowing that a home at the Shepherds Field Children's Village would be the best home for their precious children. This sacrifice did not come without great sorrow and sadness. But there is hope! The wall at PHF has hundreds of plaques that have a single or several sets of hand prints molded into them.
Each plaque also holds a name of an adopted child or family member! The names are endless. The work at PHF is rewarding. The children are precious. The need is great. The time is right. If you are willing to help with the needs at PHF visit www.chinaorphans.org after all they are doing what the heart of our God would want them to do..to take care of orphans.

Hello
I just wanted to stop by and tell you thank you for caring for orphans. As I have read this blogs on children and the "Adoption Wall" I am encouraged that I am not alone in this fight to help orphaned and abandoned children. I can't wait to see the wall someday. i'm not from china but am adopted and it will be nice and encouraging to see the Lives that have been touch by families like mine whom have adopted. Thanks for writing! I am the Director of Public Relations for a non-profit organization called World Orphans. We build church based orphan homes all over the world and our mission is simple E3 to reach each church…each child…each community. I would love for you to take a look at our website and let me know if you have any questions. (www.worldorphans.com) thank you again for your heart and words that you have written. I hope you will have a glorious blessed day!
